The list of the Fourteen Infallibles includes prophets, Imams, and Lady Fatimah. And it is a central tenet of Shia theology. Here is the list:

Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم):

The Last Prophet: Shia Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad is the final prophet. And the seal of the prophethood. He received the revelation of the Quran from Allah through the Angel Gabriel.

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (عليه السلام) :

The Cousin and Son-in-law of the Prophet. Imam Ali is the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. Shia Islam considers him the first Imam and he played a crucial role in the early history of Islam.

Bibi Fatimah al-Zahra (سلام الله علیها):

Daughter of the Prophet: Fatimah is the daughter of Prophet Muhammad. And the wife of Imam Ali. She is highly revered in Shia Islam for her piety, wisdom, and devotion.

Imam Hasan ibn Ali (عليه السلام) :

The Second Imam. Imam Hasan is the elder son of Imam Ali and Lady Fatimah. He succeeded his father as the second Imam. But had a short-lived caliphate due to political challenges.

Imam Husayn ibn Ali (عليه السلام) –

The Third Imam. Imam Husayn is the younger son of Imam Ali and Lady Fatimah. During the terrible occasion of Karbala. He especially stood against unfairness and mistreatment. And sacrificed his life for his stance.

Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin ibn Husayn (عليه السلام)

– The Fourth Imam: Also known as Imam Sajjad, he is the son of Imam Husayn. Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin actively endured the Battle of Karbala and earned renown for his supplications and prayers.

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir ibn Ali (عليه السلام) –

The Fifth Imam: Imam Muhammad al-Baqir is the son of Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin. His proficiency and valuable contributions to Islamic jurisprudence have made him renowned.

Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq ibn Muhammad (عليه السلام) –

The Sixth Imam: Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq is the son of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir. He is recognized for his scholarship and contributions to various fields of knowledge.

Imam Musa al-Kadhim ibn Ja’far (عليه السلام) –

The Seventh Imam: Imam Musa al-Kadhim is the son of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq. He faced persecution and imprisonment during his life.

Imam Ali al-Ridha ibn Musa (عليه السلام) –

The Eighth Imam: Imam Ali al-Ridha is the son of Imam Musa al-Kadhim. He is buried in Mashhad, Iran, and his shrine is considered sacred by Shia Muslims.

Imam Muhammad al-Taqi ibn Ali (عليه السلام).

The Ninth Imam: Imam Muhammad al-Taqi, also known as Imam Ali al-Hadi, is the son of Imam Ali al-Ridha. He faced challenges during the Abbasid Caliphate.

Imam Ali al-Hadi ibn Muhammad (عليه السلام) –

The Tenth Imam: Also known as Imam Ali al-Naqi, he is the son of Imam Muhammad al-Taqi. Like his father, he faced restrictions and scrutiny from the ruling authorities.

Imam Hasan al-Askari ibn Ali (عليه السلام) –

The Eleventh Imam: Imam Hasan al-Askari is the son of Imam Ali al-Hadi. He is known for his knowledge and piety. Shia Muslims believe his son, Imam al-Mahdi, is in occultation and will reappear as the Mahdi, a messianic figure.

Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (عليه السلام) –

The Twelfth Imam: Also known as the Mahdi. He is believed by Shia Muslims to be in occultation. And will reappear as the savior and leader of humanity, bringing justice and righteousness.

These Fourteen Infallibles are highly revered in Shia Islam. And their lives and teachings serve as a guide for Shia Muslims in matters of faith, ethics, and practice.
